Movie Club – Connecting Generations Through Film* – Love movies and great conversations? Join our Intergenerational Movie Club, where people of all ages come together to enjoy a pre-selected film on Netflix, followed by a relaxed and engaging discussion over a cup of tea or coffee.

Community Crew Volunteer Ops (Monday)* – Looking for a meaningful way to give back while connecting with others? Our Volunteer Ops Group meets weekly to help maintain and improve our centre, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for everyone. Whether you prefer indoor tasks or outdoor upkeep, there’s a role for you!
Outdoor Team (10 AM – 11 AM) Help keep our outdoor spaces looking their best! Tasks include:
- Sweeping and tidying outdoor areas
- Weeding and maintaining garden spaces
- Cleaning outdoor furniture
- General outdoor maintenance
Indoor Team (12 PM – 1 PM) Assist with essential indoor tasks to keep our centre running smoothly, such as:
- Shredding and filing paperwork
- Wiping down benches and organizing shared spaces
- Managing recycling and general tidying
Free Coffee & Cake (11 AM – 12 PM)
Coffee and cake will be provided for all volunteers involved with the Community Crew Volunteer Ops groups, as a thank-you for their time and effort! It’s a great chance to relax, chat, and connect with others in the community.

Carers Walk* – Join us for the Carers Walk, an inclusive, accessible program designed to support and connect carers in our community. This walk offers a peaceful, easy-paced route around leafy streets of Kew where carers can enjoy the benefits of outdoor exercise, meet others in similar situations, and share experiences in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Whether you’re caring for a loved one or just looking for some time for yourself, the Carers Walk offers an opportunity to recharge, connect, and enjoy a moment of respite. HACC PYP
Digital Connections: A Beginners’ Guide* – A beginner-friendly computer class designed for individuals looking to reconnect with technology. This course covers basic computer skills, including internet navigation, email setup, and using essential software, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for those who want to build confidence and stay connected in today’s digital world
Mindfulness* – Cultivate a continuous, mindful awareness of your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and the environment around you, all viewed through a compassionate and nurturing perspective. HACC PYP, MAC, CHSP
Teen Hub – Disconnect to Reconnect*
Every Tuesday afternoon from 4–6 PM, take a break from screens and enjoy real-world connections. Engage in fun activities like creating street art (painting the centre fence), watching and discussing movies, and contributing to our community garden. We also offer regular talks on mental health and well-being, public speaking, and time management. Plus, our chill-out zones provide a relaxed space for teens to unwind, socialize, and connect with their peers HACC PYP
