Inclusive Communities Program (ICP)

What is our Inclusive Communities Program (ICP)

The inclusive Communities Program is a group of programs designed to provide positive social, physical and emotional outcomes for a diverse range of people with varying needs.

All programs within the ICP are designed so that they can be delivered to people with a range of skill levels and experience levels.

The ICP provides an opportunity to have fun and develop a number of new skills. We have a broad range of programs, so you are guaranteed to find something that you are interested in!

To enroll in one of our programs, you will need to schedule an appointment with one of our ICP coordinators. Please reach out to the Centre at 98533126 or email us at admin@kewnlc.org.au to arrange this.

If none of our current programs interest you, you are very welcome to speak to one of our ICP coordinators.

Everyone is welcome at Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre.

Am I eligible to participate in the program?

The ICP is funded through HACC/PYP and My Aged Care, however participants can also use NDIS funding or fee for service to participate in the program. If you are unsure if you are eligible for the program, please contact the centre on 98533126 or admin@kewnlc.org.au

HACC PYP description (under 65’s)

The Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP) supports Victorians from birth to 65 years, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from birth to 50 years if their capacity for independent living is at risk. This may be due to chronic illness, mental health issues, disability or other conditions where they need one-off, intermittent or ongoing support to undertake the activities of daily living.

HACC PYP supports Victorians to optimise their health and wellbeing, while maintaining or regaining their independence to live safely in their homes and actively participate in their community.

The HACC PYP is funded and managed by the Victorian Department of Health.
