In these classes, you can expect detailed instructions from the teacher, who will often demonstrate poses to help students deepen their understanding of the postures and develop an overall awareness of body and self. There is an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of yoga postures (asanas). This style of Yoga often makes use of props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets, as aids in performing the asanas and is suitable for everybody.
