Nurturing Bonds Polymer Clay Workshop (Mother’s Day or Special Person Workshop)

Join us for a fun polymer clay workshop where you and your little one can explore creativity together! No experience needed – we’ll guide you through conditioning clay, mixing colors, and trying out different techniques. Choose from earrings, pendants, keyrings, or bookmarks to make your own keepsakes. Everything you create is yours to keep. Let’s craft, bond, and make memories! 🎨✨  AGES 5+ only

Jane Haussegger is a Furniture Designer who creates quality furnishings and homewares using recycled timbers and sustainable materials. Her design process combines traditional woodworking skills with workshop machines. KNLC is excited to announce our very own Chatty Cafe, running on Friday from 1pm to 2:30pm – located at our Sparechair Cafe

This is an opportunity for anyone in our neighbourhood to drop in, strike up a conversation with others and foster new connections. Our wonderful volunteer Raya will be present at a designated table to ease newcomers into the session and help the conversation along!

Let’s prevent loneliness and social isolation together, one coffe and conversation at a time!

These sessions will also help you to navigate through the world of internet plans, data plans, Wi-Fi and a basic guide on how to use applications (apps)

WE NEED YOU!  Love to sew?  Want to be part of a feel good project? The Threads of Kindness Project is a KNLC initiative funded by the Sidney Myer Foundation making bedcovers for the victims of domestic violence. A community project in every sense – all fabric has been donated by local business, Highly Sprung Interiors, with the bedcovers being sewn together by people within the KNLC community and then passed on to a women’s shelter. New! Hospitality Engagement and Employment Training Program

This is an intensive pre-accredited pathway program for those wanting to work in the hospitality industry.  This program will cover the following areas and develop skills in:

•  Kitchen Hand
• Customer service
• Basic barista and food handling.

It will be complemented with work ready tools.  Course commences soon. Numbers are limited!
